I approach complex problems with curiosity, humility, and humor. I see myself not as a guru or healer who can “fix” people, but as someone who can provide tools to help your body function better from the inside out.
I create a trauma-informed therapy environment where my patients feel they are safe, truly heard, and worthy of taking up space and investing in their own well-being.
It is a great privilege to earn patients’ trust in such an intimate therapy setting, and this is a privilege I never take for granted.
My Approach
What comes to mind when you hear the words “physical therapy”?
Most people picture the musculoskeletal system—our bones, muscles, and joints. These structures are essential, but there is so much more that impacts our pain, movement, and function.
One of the most important functions of our bones and muscles is to protect our organs and central nervous system, which are critical to keeping us alive. I use a whole-body approach to assess and treat not only the musculoskeletal structures, but also the organs and nervous system that they support and protect. This allows me to determine the underlying causes of pain and movement dysfunction, rather than chasing symptoms.
I take a deeply collaborative approach to our work together, listening to all concerns and supporting you on your way to holistic health.
